Adriano Schembri

Adriano launched his aviation career in 2001, accruing approximately 10,000 hours piloting the B733 and A320 with Air Malta. Over time, Adriano broadened his experience in the field, sparking a keen interest in Crew Resource Management (CRM) during his stint in aircrew training. This interest motivated him to pursue a MSc in Aviation Management, specialising in Human Factors and aviation training.

Throughout his career, Adriano has developed and facilitated CRM and Human Factors training programmes for a variety of organisations including Air Malta, Hyperion, SkyFirst, PrivatAir, ECAir, OLT Express, Afriqiyah Airways, Alliance Jet, AirX Charter, Aviaserve, AlphaOne, and the Maltese Emergency Nurses’ Association.

In recent years, Adriano has transitioned to management roles, notably as training manager at Biz Av Services and as an inspector for TM-CAD, overseeing ATO activities. Currently, he is responsible for the Safety and Compliance of the Operations department at AirX Charter. Outside of work, Adriano is an avid swimmer and a supporter of the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team.
