Dr Adreana Zammit was conferred with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malta in 2018, with a term paper entitled “Comfortable Satisfaction: the standard of proof used by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, with particular reference to Corruption Cases”. Dr Zammit furthered her academic studies and in 2019 was conferred with a Master of Advocacy Degree by the same University. She was later that year admitted to the local Bar.
During her fourth year of studies at the University of Malta, Adreana grew interest for the Transport Industry and applied for a student internship with the Authority for Transport in Malta. This led to an enriching three year journey within Transport Malta’s various Directorates, where she continued to act as a legal consultant to the Authority following the completion of her Master of Advocacy Degree until 2021.
Today, Dr Zammit is an associate and litigation lawyer within the Law Firm Lex Group Legal, serving to advise and represent local and international clients in Criminal, Civil and Administrative law matters.
Dr Zammit’s passion for transport legislation and her great interest in expanding her field of work and knowledge, led to the furthering of her studies within the Aviation industry. Dr Zammit has completed a postgraduate diploma in Aircraft Leasing and Finance with the Law Society of Ireland and is currently pursuing an Advanced Master’s Degree at Leiden University in Air and Space Law.
