Sinclair Portelli

Captain Sinclair Portelli has got more than 6000 flying hours under his belt and he has been in the employ of Air Malta as cabin crew, Medavia and Jet Magic amongst others. He has flown on an array of aircraft from the CASA 212 Aviocar and the Beech 1900 to the Boeing 737NG. Captain Portelli has held various managerial posts including that of Accountable Manager at a number of operators as well as doing consultancy work. He joined the MAviO team in 2012 and has been policy coordinator since then. After consultation with the rest of the team, Captain Portelli is tasked with finding a suitable theme for the conference each year. This is carefully researched and once finalised he embarks on a hunt for suitable speakers. He is also part of the Select Committee that sifts through the nominations for the MAviO Awards.
